Coffee Catch-ups

Some projects are public. Some are still brewing quietly.

Because many of our projects sit behind NDAs, we've learned to tell stories through problems solved, systems improved, and products brought to life — not just pretty screenshots.

Crunchy.

Making AI feel more human.

Built for the UK market, Crunchy supports young adults navigating life after government systems. The challenge: create something fun but not childish, intelligent but not intimidating, helpful without feeling clinical.

What if AI felt more like an assistant than a tool? Built for the UK market, the product focuses on supporting young adults navigating life after government systems — people who may not always have strong support structures around them. Whether it's applying for jobs, understanding everyday responsibilities, or figuring out how to handle life's small (but overwhelming) moments, the goal was to create something practical, approachable, and genuinely helpful. The challenge was creating a product that felt: Fun, but not childish Intelligent, but not intimidating Helpful, without feeling clinical We focused heavily on accessibility, tone, and usability for users who may have lower literacy levels or limited confidence using technology. The product includes personalised tools, coaching support, assessments, AI assistance, and behavioural science elements — all designed to create a more tailored experience for every user. From a UX/UI perspective, one of the biggest challenges was balancing playfulness with clarity. There were a lot of moving parts, tools, and experiences to bring together, and the goal was always to keep things coherent, intuitive, and focused on what users actually needed — not simply adding features for the sake of it.

The Attribution Company.

Helping marketers understand real-world buyers.

If cookies help marketers understand online behaviour, this asked: what if we could understand behaviour in the real world too? One of the fastest-moving products we've worked on — designing in an environment where the rules kept changing.

What if we could understand behaviour in the real world too? The Attribution Company helps businesses better understand customer behaviour inside physical retail and restaurant environments — giving marketers deeper insights into who their buyers actually are. This has been one of the fastest-moving products we've worked on. As AI rapidly reshaped industries, user expectations changed almost overnight. Features evolved quickly, priorities shifted regularly, and flexibility became one of the biggest requirements of the project. The challenge wasn't only designing the product — it was designing in an environment where the rules kept changing. This project pushed us to rethink speed, collaboration, prototyping, and the role of AI inside the design process itself. It fundamentally changed how quickly ideas could move from concept to prototype to development.

Ongoing Dev House Work.

Quietly solving problems behind the scenes.

Almost four years supporting an ongoing development partnership across campaign management systems, internal tools and client-facing products. The hardest part: switching gears quickly between products at very different stages of maturity.

Some of our favourite work sits quietly in the background. For almost four years, we've supported an ongoing development partnership — working across multiple internal and client-facing products as different needs arise. Projects range from campaign management systems for international clients to feature design, UX refinement, and product support across a variety of digital platforms. The biggest challenge here? Switching gears quickly. One day might involve improving a workflow in an enterprise platform, while the next focuses on refining a completely different feature set for another product. It requires flexibility, fast context-switching, and the ability to jump into products at different stages of maturity. And honestly — we love that part.

Projects we've wrapped up.

Some projects have evolved. Some have been sold. Some no longer look the way they did when we worked on them. That's the nature of product design.

Sterkla.

Connecting coaches with people who need support.

We joined Sterkla after the product already existed. The role became less about starting from scratch and more about strengthening, refining, and evolving the experience — and over time, growing into design systems, marketing material and creative support across the wider ecosystem.

Sterkla was designed to help connect coaches and coachees across both personal and corporate development spaces. Unlike some of our other projects, we joined this one after the product already existed. The role here became less about starting from scratch and more about helping strengthen, refine, and evolve the experience. This included identifying UX issues, solving bugs from a design perspective, improving usability, introducing new ideas, and building greater consistency across the platform. Over time, the work expanded well beyond UX/UI. We created design systems, marketing material, banners, posters, and additional creative support across the wider brand and product ecosystem. This was one of those projects that naturally grew as trust grew — and we genuinely loved becoming an extension of the team. The product may have since evolved or changed ownership, so the experience today may differ from when we worked on it.

Engagement Fit.

Helping bring a development platform to life.

A build-it-from-the-ground-up project. Involved during early ideation — helping shape the product, define the experience and bring structure to the vision before scaling into full UI delivery, launch material and adoption support.

Engagement Fit was one of those exciting "build it from the ground up" projects. We were involved during the early ideation phase — helping shape the product, define the user experience, and bring structure to the vision before scaling into full UI and product delivery. Our role included UX, UI, design systems, workflows, developer handover, and helping establish the foundations of the platform experience. One of the most rewarding parts of this project was helping turn an early idea into a functioning product with clear systems, consistency, and a strong user experience foundation. Like many products, the platform has continued to evolve since our involvement, so what exists today may differ from the original experience we helped shape.
